Baskerville Poster

I scaled and cropped Baskerville capitals into an interlocking field, then traced their inner sweeps with a three-band inline to dramatize the face’s elegant curvature, bracketed serifs, and high contrast. A warm salmon fills against a soft cream groun,d keeps the forms graphic, while the layered contours read like topographic lines that guide the eye through each shoulder and terminal. A right-hand specimen—alphabet, numerals, dating, and brief notes set in Baskerville—anchors the composition and adds historical context. The result sits between specimen and poster: spacious, asymmetrical, and wholly focused on the grace of Baskerville’s curves.
